Also, it is one of the 10 schools in the world that boasts an employability rate of 100% for the students within the first three months of graduation.

The campus is designed by award winning architects, based on Tadao Ando’s philosophy of creating architectural spaces in which one can experience — as one does with poetry or music—surprise, discovery, intellectual stimulation, and Joie de vivre.

The campus is set on 10 acres of land in the heart of Mysore’s corporate scene. MYRA campus is a radical departure from the traditional business school architecture, which embraces stuffy classrooms and hallways. The campus has been designed by the award winning Bangalore firm, Architecture Paradigm, who were inspired by the ensemble of gigantic boulders that dot the Bangalore-Mysore highway. It makes optimum use of space and natural light and has often been referred to as “poetry in concrete.”

The campus’ thought-through design gives scope for student’s creativity and research. It has been designed to address the specific needs of management students to foster an atmosphere of openness. The launch of this futuristic campus is just the start to pioneer the revolutionary and the innovative world of education in the B-Schools especially in India. The unconventional design of the campus envisions the unconventional method of teaching at MYRA. The MYRA campus claims to have one of one of its kind academic structure of the ‘Floating classroom’ which is situated on a pool of flowing water.

The multi-stories library is considered as the hallmark of the MYRA building with subscriptions to leading online resources and thousands of books- an ideal place to study and conduct research. The ceiling of the library is aimed towards the sunlight, as it is presumed that the mind works the best while facing the East. There are two amphitheatres which are located at the ground and the top level. The top level amphitheatre is designed in a way which can be also be divided into two classrooms. The concept of the breakout classrooms has been introduced to help the students brainstorm and follow the conventional method of learning.

MYRA currently offers three courses – PGDM (2years) and PGPX (1year). Both the programmes are positioned to foster the deep understanding of management ideas and techniques in the context of local and global business landscapes.

The school follows a rigorous selection process, which entails selecting candidates who have a minimum of two years of professional experience, a strong academic background and an above average score in the MBA entrance exams. MYRA seeks candidates who possess the values of pursuit; perseverance and passion along with the willingness go the extra mile. The admissions for the first batch are set to commence from July 2013.
