A Bangalore court will today pronounce the verdict in the disproportionate assets case against TN CM J Jayalalithaa who is charged with accumulating Rs 66.65 crore of wealth disproportionate to known sources of income during her first term as CM.A huge cache of gold and silver ornaments found at Jayalalitha's residence in 1997.A conviction will automatically disqualify her as MLA. She will also have to resign as CM as will.
In a blow to Jayalalithaa ahead of the DA case hearing, the Supreme Court dismissed her plea seeking a change of venue for the verdict.

Security has been tightened for DMK leaders Karunanidhi, MK Stalin and MK Alagiri. DA case against Jaya was filed by DMK government in 1996.Verdict would be pronounced at 3 pm today.
