#Security and standardization of protocols are biggest challenges for the growth of #IoT in #India

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a phenomenon that draws on rapid developments within IT, ICT and telecommunications to spark insights and to help companies create entirely new types of services and business areas.


Founder of Internet of Things (IoT) Bangalore chapter Nihal Kashinath feels security and standardization of protocols are biggest challenges for the growth of IoT in India. He was speaking at the curtain raiser event for the India Electronics Week 2016 in Bangalore.
India Electronics Week 2016(IEW 2016) is starting from 11th till the 13th of January at the BIEC. One of the highlight of  the event would be the defence conference where senior dignitaries from Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, DRDO, ISRO, HAL and MOE would be participating. RV Deshpande, Minister, Large and Medium Scale Industries, Government of Karnataka, Vikram Desai, President ELCINA, Rajesh Agarwal, CEO, Micromax, K.Ratnaprabha, Addl Chief Secretary to Govt of Karnataka, Commerce & Ind. Dept., JS Deepak, Secretary, DeitY, Govt. of India are some dignitaries expected at the CEO summit.
