Coonoor Hillwalker is a Global Charity Walk jointly organized by Omashram Trust, Bangalore and Kathirvel Nagammal Trust, Coonoor .
Participants need to walk/run the 10 km distance within 3 hours. It is a not a competition and so, walkers/runners need not compete with one another. However, the challenge is about the walkers/runners finishing the entire walk/run within the given time.

- To educate the Tribal children in the Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu, India.
- To build a permanent Residential Unit ( Old Age Home) for the Abandoned Elderly at Omashram Trust-Old Age Care, Bangalore, India.
