Tricog launches new cloud connected-portable ECG machines

Bengaluru-based Tricog Health Services Pvt Ltd which raised $2 million Series A round of funding from Inventus Capital Partners, Blume Ventures and a group of angel investors couple of months back has launched cloud connected portable ECG (electrocardiography) machines.


The newly launched ECG machines upload the data on cloud and returns a diagnosis in 30-45 seconds.Every time an ECG is performed with Tricog’s cloud-connected ECG device, a Tricog specialist interprets it and sends the report through an SMS as well as a message on its mobile app.
“When a heart attack is diagnosed, Tricog facilitates care coordination between the remote location and a tertiary centre that would treat the patient so that even before the patient reaches the hospital, an expert team is ready to ensure the heart attack is treated without delay. We saw proof of Tricog’s effectiveness in a camp we held recently where we conducted 10,000 ECG tests in 300 centres across both urban and rural Karnataka. Over the last year, With Tricog ECG devices, we were able to serve over 110,000 patients and detect 7,500 heart attacks and help coordinate their care,”said Dr. Charit Bhograj, founder of Tricog Health Pvt Ltd.

The ECG machine was unveiled tody in Bengaluru by KR Ramesh Kumar, Min. for Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Karnataka.
